Happy Fourth of July

Posted on July 2, 2013 at 3:40 PM Comments comments (0)
Again it's been a while. We have moved. We are almost settled into our new home. (not) But at least it's much closer to the farm. We are re-vamping our web site, business, etc. Time for some new changes. Stay Tuned.

As  a veteran, and with my wife's family having two veterans it time to give thought to the true meaning of the 4th of July. Please take a moment to celebrate our great nation, and give thanks to the men and women who made this great nation possible !!!

Lord, I pray that I never take my freedom for granted. May I always remember that my freedom was purchased at a very high price. My freedom cost others their very lives. Lord, bless those who have served and continue to give their lives for our freedom. Meet their needs and watch over their families.

We look forward to second half of this great year and hope you do too.

Thank You

Scott and Tricia

Been a while...

Hello Folks,
It's been a while since we have updated. Our bad, but we have so much going on. Lets try and catch up on all that has gone on...
  • Held a smaller work day and built a second shooting bay.
  • Had the good folks from the JAR'S come out and set up a radio with antenna and show us how to build a small antenna ourselves.
  • Continued our normal Saturday Classes.
  • Held two Sunday Classes. (by special request)
  • Taught an evening two part class in down town Raleigh for some local government folks.
  • Held a second work day and started framing a pavilion for meeting's etc. While cleaning up logs and burning an old log pile or two.
  • Helped with the Johnston County Friends of The NRA Dinner, where we raised over 14,000.00 to help the various Johnston County shooting programs for children.
  • Were able to sell our house to continue towards our goal of moving full time to the farm.

It has been an amazing and blessful year for us so far. We can't wait for the second half and to see what it brings. Our thanks to the many friends who have helped support us in all our efforts, with out you we would be lost.

Stay tuned more to come...

First Work play fun Shoot day

Posted on March 5, 2013 at 10:17 AM Comments comments (0)
Our first land day went really really good.  We had a great turn out and met lots of great people.  The SwiftCreek Minute men and NC Gunowners along with Triangle Conservatives were just great.  We also had a few of our past student show up for a great overall day.  BBQ was great, we got our first frame for the shooting benches up and also 2 shooting bays cleared along with a great start for one of the berms.  Cant wait to see how this progresses. Look forward to many events like this on the land.

If interested  email me at [email protected]

This will be private range is by invitation only (no charge, just help us get it up and running). We will plan on having once a month get togethers for target practice, BBQ and possible Bon Fires.

Ammo shortage

Posted on January 4, 2013 at 4:39 PM Comments comments (0)
Just want to let everyone know that we have been able to find 22 ammo at Cabella's for a good price and in quantities.  They also seem to have a supply of 9mm still.  Walmart seems to get ammo at night but I think someone with a gun store is buying them cause we've been told someone comes in and buys almost all at one time.  Just trying to help everyone out.
